Understanding Our Waitlist Policy

Although we would be delighted to welcome every individual into our school community, regrettably, it is not always feasible. That is why we provide families with the opportunity to join our waitlist when their desired enrollment option reaches capacity. When a family goes on the waitlist, they understand that SchoolHaus Prep may have policy, procedure, and/or tuition changes between waitlist placement and enrollment at SchoolHaus Prep.

To be put on SchoolHaus Prep's waitlist, parents must:

• Take a tour of SchoolHaus Prep.

• Fill out and submit the SHP Application Packet for their child.

• Pay the nonrefundable Application and Waitlist Fees.

Waitlist priority is determined by the following factors, in order:

1. The date of completed Application Packet submission and fees.

2. Whether the child is a sibling of a currently enrolled student.

3. Whether the family is a returning or alumni family.

4. Whether the child's age matches the available spot at SchoolHaus Prep.

5. Whether the child's schedule request aligns with the availability at SchoolHaus Prep.

Enrollment priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled students, followed by returning families, including alumni, and then new students. When a spot becomes available, waitlisted families are contacted in order and have 24 hours to accept or decline the offer.

If a family declines the spot, they have the option to return to the waitlist, pay a Guaranteed Placement Fee for a future spot, or be removed from the waitlist. Families on the waitlist are not guaranteed enrollment unless they have paid the optional Guaranteed Placement Fee.

If there are no children on the waitlist for an opening, an email is sent to families who have toured SchoolHaus Prep. The first family to respond will be offered the spot.

Families transitioning from the waitlist to enrollment must accept the offer, pay the first week's tuition and fees, and complete any missing paperwork.

Registration and Materials Fees are nonrefundable and cover enrollment from August through June at SchoolHaus Prep.
