Curriculum by Age

Q: How does the curriculum vary by age at SchoolHaus Prep?

A: At SchoolHaus Prep, our carefully crafted curriculum caters to the developmental needs of each age group. Drawing inspiration from the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, we create a learning environment that embraces the benefits of mixed-age classrooms. By fostering collaboration, empathy, and a strong sense of community, our model allows younger children to learn from their older peers while older children reinforce their knowledge by teaching the younger ones. We adhere to the North Carolina Foundations of Early Learning and Development framework, ensuring that our lessons and activities are tailored to each child's stage of development. As students progress through our program, our curriculum evolves to prepare them for future academic milestones.
